- You don't need one. The Free plan includes 3 scans and 3 real backed-up code fixes every month, forever — no card required. You see actual fixes applied to your theme before you ever pay. Paid plans bill through Shopify and can be cancelled anytime.
- Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the AccessComply dashboard inside Shopify admin. Plan changes take effect immediately. When upgrading, you get prorated credit for the remainder of your current billing period.
- A scan is a full crawl of your storefront. AccessComply visits every accessible page (up to 50), scans each at desktop and mobile viewports, and generates a complete compliance report. The installed Free plan includes 3 scans per month (the public scanner on this site allows 3 per store per day). All paid plans include unlimited scans.
- Deterministic fixes use rule-based code transformations for predictable issues like color contrast, form labels, skip navigation, focus indicators, and heading hierarchy. AI-assisted fixes use vetted coding models to generate context-aware solutions for issues like missing alt text and ARIA labels. The Free plan includes 3 deterministic fixes per month; Starter makes them unlimited; AI fixes require Shield or higher.
- Yes. All fixes are written directly to your Shopify theme files. If you uninstall AccessComply, the fixes remain in your theme. You also get full backup and rollback capability for every file modified.
- No. All plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. Cancel anytime from your Shopify admin. Billing is handled through Shopify subscriptions.
