- Yes — paid plans include a 14-day free trial, billed through Shopify only if you continue. The installed Free plan also includes 3 app scans per calendar month and 3 rule-based fixes per rolling 30 days — no card required. Paid plans can be cancelled anytime.
- Yes. You can open Shopify-managed billing from the AccessComply dashboard to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel. Shopify shows the price, effective date, and any applicable billing adjustment before you approve the change.
- An app scan checks reachable public storefront pages — up to 50 pages on Free, and up to 150 on paid plans (400 with Shopify crawler access) until the scan time budget is reached — and runs SEO, speed, and accessibility checks on desktop and mobile layouts. It provides focused technical results, not a complete SEO audit, live shopper speed score, or accessibility certification. The installed Free plan includes 3 scans per calendar month; paid plans include unlimited on-demand scans.
- Rule-based fixes use prebuilt changes for SEO information, speed markup, and accessibility patterns such as color contrast, form labels, skip navigation, focus indicators, and heading order. AI-assisted fixes suggest image descriptions and accessible labels using the surrounding content. The Free plan includes 3 rule-based fixes per rolling 30 days; Starter makes them unlimited; AI-assisted fixes require Shield or higher.
- Approved theme-file changes remain in the specific theme that was modified until another edit or theme update overwrites them; they do not automatically transfer to a different published theme. Approved Shopify content or resource changes persist in Shopify. Applied changes save the original value so it can be restored, while the optional storefront add-on stops when the app or embed is removed.
- Monthly plans have no long-term commitment. Shopify may also show optional discounted annual plans with a one-year billing term. Review the exact price, term, effective date, and any billing adjustment on Shopify's approval screen before subscribing; cancellation is managed in Shopify admin.
